Description
Every week throughout our Summer Share season (June-October), shareholders receive 5 – 6 different freshly picked ecologically grown vegetables to take home. If you don’t particular like a certain item in your share, swap it out for one of our substitution items.
Please remember that the crop mix and when crops are available in all shares are subject to variability depending on the season.
Sample Summer Individual Share
Early Season
- 1 head of Lettuce
- 1 individual sized bunch of Scallions
- 1 head or bunch of your choice of Bok Choi or Swiss Chard
- 1/2 lb. Spinach
- 1 individual sized bunch of Japanese Turnips or Radishes
- substitutions items: arugula, basil
Mid-Season
- 1 Individual sized Sweet Onion
- 1 lb. Tomatoes
- 1 Zucchini or Summer Squash
- 1 individual size Eggplant or 1 Peppers
- 1 individual sized Watermelon or Cantaloupe
- substitution items: Tomatillos, herbs
Late Season
- 1 Winter Squash (Acorn or Delicata)
- 1 bunch your choice: arugula, kale, collard, mustard greens
- 1 lb. Beets or Carrots or Potatoes
- 1 pint Radishes
- 1 Individual sized Broccoli or Cabbage
- substitution items: scallons, fennel
