The fall greens and brassica roots are being planted today. The melons are almost ready and looking good. Cucumbers are dying off and the potatoes have been mowed. We will start digging spuds next week. Our super crew member Jeff is soon off to his final year of college never to return. We do hope he will visit. So, if you want to work on the farm or know someone who does please contact us. We finish the harvest generally Thanksgiving week.

The vegetable share includes sweet onions or scallions, beets or carrots or japanese turnips, zucchini and some summer squash, cucumbers, greens (lettuce, arugula, kale, cabbage and dandelion), and sweet corn from Abers Acres. The substitution is cilantro and parsley.

The fruit share includes peaches, plums and apricots from Singer Farm.

Enjoy!
