white bread, the best you can buy, or bake
mayo, the best you can buy, or make
1 fresh, just-picked tomato
salt and pepper, to taste

1. Smear 2 slices of bread with mayo, one side each. Slice tomato. Place tomato slices on one slice of the bread. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Cover with other slice of bread.

Eat.
