Cover crops are in and we are beginning to harvest the Winter Squash.  We had a lot of rain on the weekend which is unfortunate since the soil had just finally dried enough to dig potatoes.  Hopefully we can get some spuds dug before the next rain event next week.  The crops do look great which is encouraging.

The Vegetable Share for the week includes Zucchini, Peppers, Spaghetti Squash, Greens (arugula, mustard, tat soi, dandelion, vitamin green, amara, cabbage and kale), Lettuce or Eggplant, Radish and Collards.  The substitutions are Scallions, Cilantro, Fennel, Tomatillos, and small Cabbages.

The Fruit Share includes the seedless grapes Concord and Canadice and a choice of Plums, Prunes, Apples and Pears.  It is starting to taste like fall.
