The summer shares are finally over-it felt like a particularly long run this time around!  Season Extension shares start this week.  This is my favorite season-the late fall and early winter. The best of both worlds in my mind: I love the smell of fall and the quiet of winter.  We still have lots of greens in the fields so as long as the weather doesn’t get to cold, we can still harvest those delicious veggies.

The season extension share has a greens portion and a root and storage crop portion.

The greens portion includes as many different types of greens as we can get including: arugula, tat soi, mizuna, mustard, kale, collards, bok choi, cabbage (as available!)

Included in the roots and storage crops: potatoes, onions, carrots, beets, turnips, parsnips, kohlrabi, radish, winter squash, and apples

Enjoy the bounty of fall!
