This relish is great with grilled fish or meats; I’ve also spooned it over cooked grains and steamed veggies, even on bread.
3/4 c chopped scallions
1/4 c sesame seeds (toasted if you like)
1 clove garlic, chopped
2 t chopped, peeled fresh ginger
1-1/2 T soy sauce
1 t unseasoned rice vinegar
1 t toasted (dark) sesame oil
1/4 t sugar
1. Combine all ingredients in a blender and buzz until well chopped but not a puree-you want some texture.
