strawberries, hulled
1 T water
1 T unsalted butter, melted
2 -3 T sugar

1. Preheat oven to 400°F.  Put strawberries, as many as you need for serving, stem end down in a baking dish. Add 1 water to the dish. Brush the strawberries, as well as you can, with the melted butter. Sprinkle with the sugar.

2. Roast for about 5 to 8 minutes, depending on the size of the berries, or until the berries are soft. Serve warm with the pan juices, with vanilla ice cream or frozen yogurt or…
