Totally simple and delicious. Use wine goblets for an elegant-looking dessert.

4 large, ripe peaches, washed and peeled
2 t sugar
2 c full-bodied red wine, such as Chianti or Zinfandel

1. Slice the peaches directly into 4 wine goblets or other serving container.

2. Sprinkle each with about 1/2 t sugar. Divide the wine among the 4 portions. Serve with a spoon.
