You can substitute pecans for the walnuts.

1/2 c chopped walnuts
1-lb green, yellow or dragon tongue beans, trimmed and cut into 2-inch pieces
2 – 3 T butter, melted, or extra-virgin olive oil, or roasted walnut oil
1 lemon, zested and juiced
salt and pepper, to taste

1. Preheat oven to 375ºF. Arrange nuts in a single layer on a baking sheet. Toast in the preheated oven until lightly browned and fragrant, approximately 5 to 10 minutes.

2. Steam beans for 8 to 10 minutes, or until tender. Place cooked beans in a large bowl, and toss with butter or oil, lemon juice, and lemon zest. Season with salt and pepper. Sprinkle with toasted walnuts. Serve immediately.
