This is absolutely delicious!! I am putting it on everything, eggs at breakfast, as a spread on sandwiches, on potatoes, on steak, tempeh…I imagine you could use other herb combinations here, and spices other than cumin. Double or triple the recipe and freeze in small batches…

1 c chopped fresh cilantro
1 c chopped fresh parsley
1/4 c chopped, seeded fresh hot peppers
1/4 c water
1/4 c olive oil
1 1/2 T minced garlic
1 t salt
1 t ground black pepper
1 t ground cumin

1. Combine all ingredients in a food processor or blender and purée to a pesto-like consistency–or not; you might like it a little chunky. Cover and refrigerate.
