You can whisk everything together in a bowl, in which case you’ll want to finely mince ingredients, or you can blenderize it, in which case you won’t have to be quite so punctilious. I often double or triple this recipe.
2 T balsamic vinegar
1 T soy sauce
1 T lemon juice
2 t liquid honey, agave, or other sweetener
1/2 t fresh ginger, minced (or 1/4 t ginger powder)
1/4 t pepper
1 garlic clove, minced
1/4 c olive oil
2 T fresh cilantro, chopped
2 T fresh basil, chopped
1. Bowl method: Whisk together vinegar, soy sauce, lemon juice, honey, ginger, pepper, and garlic. Gradually whisk in oil. Stir in cilantro and basil.
2. Blender method: Put all ingredients into a blender and whizz to desired consistency.
