The first direct seeding is in! Today arugula, mizuna, tat soi, mustard, rapini , vitamin green, komansuna, Japanese turnips, cilantro and spinach was planted. We were only a couple of days off our schedule which is OK considering the Spring we have had. Stew

It is back to winter on the farm. We have been waiting for the soil to dry which is difficult when it is frozen underneath. Usually we have started planting by now. This is not a usual year it seems. stew

The exact cost of your order will be calculated once the cow is butchered (according to the hanging weight: the weight of the quarter before bones are cut out and meat is trimmed, cut and wrapped). Our cow sizes and weights are variable, expected poundage is approximate. Full payment for your order is expected at the time of billing.

PORK

1/2 hog deposit: $20 (each additional 1/2 adds another $20)
Our price is $3.45/ lb. hanging weight. With processing hanging weight cost is approximately $4.35/lb. You will pay the butcher directly for their service at time of pick up. The exact cost of your order will be calculated once the hog is butchered (according to the hanging weight: the weight of the half before bones are cut out and meat is trimmed, cut and wrapped). Our hog sizes and weights are variable, expected poundage is approximate. Full payment for your order is expected at the time of billing.
