The Siberian Kale has been cut and will be at the final Winter Market at Buffalo State. This bed will be planted to cherry tomatoes for the summer shares

There was excitement in the trees. The birds were flying around making a lot of noise. It seems they did not share our pleasure in the visit from the Bald Eagle.

Dry. We need rain. We used the transplanter today to water the field planted transplants. I know the rain will come. I do feel like the child looking at the clock waiting for what seems like the longest time. It will rain, but not on my schedule.

We are still taking CSA shares (our certified organic veggie AND locally grown fruit shares) for the 2016 season!

There are two ways for you to purchase our summer and fruit shares and to put deposits down for our beef and pork:

  1. Print out our registration form and mail that in with your payment (check or money order)
  2. Click on our credit card links and pay through Square.
  3. If you want to sign up for our Together share or Season extension or Winter, you’ll have to do the old fashioned way through snail mail and a check!

SEASON EXTENSION SHARE (November-December)

BEEF

1/4 cow deposit: $20 (each additional 1/4 adds another $20)
Our price is $3.75/ lb. hanging weight. With processing hanging weight cost is approximately $4.35/lb. The exact cost of your order will be calculated once the cow is butchered (according to the hanging weight: the weight of the quarter before bones are cut out and meat is trimmed, cut and wrapped). Our cow sizes and weights are variable, expected poundage is approximate. Full payment for your order and butchering is expected at the time of billing.

PORK

1/2 hog deposit: $20 (each additional 1/2 adds another $20)
Our price is $3.95/ lb. hanging weight. With processing hanging weight cost is approximately $4.85/lb. The exact cost of your order will be calculated once the hog is butchered (according to the hanging weight: the weight of the half before bones are cut out and meat is trimmed, cut and wrapped). Our hog sizes and weights are variable, expected poundage is approximate. Full payment for your order and butchering is expected at the time of billing.
