Working in the Open Air

Exercise, fresh air, good company, and plenty of fresh food to show for it!

For four to five hours of your time per week, you can "earn" a share of vegetables and greens.  Among a typical day's chores:

bullet

Picking and bundling produce in the field

bullet

Weeding

bullet

Washing and packaging shares for pickup and delivery

bullet

Trimming and sorting stored produce

bullet

General barn work

Field workers are most needed on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 7 or 8 AM to about Noon.  A one-time-per-year fee of $20 is required.  We prefer that you make a commitment to one day a week and generally stick to it for the entire season. Occasional volunteers are always welcome for a day or two in trade for a share, of course.

Other share positions include managing pickup locations, day-care assistance on the farm, and other services.  Please contact us for arrangements, as these are done on an individual case basis.
