It seemed like a switch was hit and all of a sudden Fall was here.  The harvest is full on now.   We have lots of crop but we also have until mid-November to bring it all in.  We are getting some rot due to all the rain but generally the crops look great.  This week we will finish the Winter Squash harvest.   Butternut, Sweet Dumpling and Confection are still waiting for us to bring them inside.

The Vegetable Share for the week includes Elba Potatoes, Spaghetti or Acorn Winter Squash, Spinach or Lettuce, Greens (Arugula, Tat Soi, Vitamin Greens, Komansuna, Dandelion, Collards and Cabbage), Peppers, Japanese Turnips or Radishes and this weeks feature is a choice of Red Russian or Siberian Kale.  The substitutions are Hot Peppers, Cilantro, Fennel or Zucchini.

The Fruit Share for the week includes Bosc Pears, Gala, Mac, Honey Crisp and organic Crimson Crisp Apples.  There are also Red Plums.

Enjoy!
