The drought is over!  We were blessed with over three inches of rain this last week and more is on its way.  The timing was great because the fall greens and roots had just been seeded.

The vegetable share includes summer squash, cucumbers, greens (mostly chard, kale and cabbage), tomatoes, sweet onions or japanese scallions, and herbs (fennel, basil, sage, dill, cilantro and parsley).  The substitutions are beets and tomatillos.

The fruit share includes three kinds of peaches and prune plums.  I do miss the japanese plums.  Jack Frost was unkind to us this season.  All the fruit is from Singer Farms.

Enjoy.
